Church, get a GODDAMNED LIFE

Dont say i didnt warn you. I have put adequate space in this post so you can navigate away.

Because in the following post i give totally NO REGARD to being courteous. I say whats on my mind and it is something that is, in my opinion, very cutting and blunt. Read the title of this post again. This post is structured somewhere along this lines. If you cant accept it, then navigate away. I have given you enough warning and you have a choice.

See! Even i know how to respect people's choices even though this is pretty much MY blog.

Till now all i have done is to point out critical flaws in Christianity.

If you are a christian and you find this post offensive then you should. Because i damn well have been bleddy offended by the way some churches do things myself. Bite the bullet.

Dont give me any crap about generalisations and that "oh no not all churches are like that". Im not listening to any reason that is potentially hindered by an inherent hindsight bias.

Up till now, what i have ranted about is based on personal opinion, and there have not been issues that i am not able to live with, issues that have affected me directly. These are my opinions, and are pretty much isolated.

But today, i learnt something else. It affects people, whether u choose to or not.

Who gives a fucking church, a teeny ORGANISATION, any right to dictate how their members should live their lives?

What gives the church any right to interfere with how an individual chooses to live his life? On what BASIS is this claim being made? Based on religious teachings? So then do i pay 10% tax to the church also? Its also within teachings wad.

Fucking control freaks. Not only does the church dictate what goes on in the minds of men, it also dictates how people should live their life. Not in the figurative sense, but a literal sense.

So if u go to church, you should not dress like a goth and listen to heavy metal cos heavy metal is satanic?

This is the problem with religion. RELIGION IS NOT A WAY OF LIFE!!! You can NEVER control individuals' way of living! If even parents dont have a problem with this why should an organisation be any different? How close can mere strangers in an organisation be when compared to one's parents?

Unless of course you dont mind forsaking ur parents for your God and ur lofty ideals. Then i dont care. Just dont butt ur ass into my affairs. I take this personally if it interferes with MY way of life. And it has, today.

If religion is your way of life then its not my business. Dont involve me in your irrationalities. Just know where to draw the line between religion and being a total fucking busybody.

Yes, i may be critical of religion

Yes, sometimes i get carried away and rabble off about how christianity simply sucks

But i dont impose what i believe on you, do i?

Perhaps im a hypocrite for saying all these, but i think at the very least i am tolerant.

Ok to me its an irrationality. Ok to me it is hogwash. BUT if u believe in it then thats ur issue! I dont have a PROBLEM WITH YOU BELIEVING IN WHAT YOU WANT TO BELIEVE.

IT becomes a problem when what you believe interferes with MY way of life.

Get a Goddamned life and smell the coffee. Religion isnt everything.

Oh wait but it is! Cell groups are so fun! WE have games and stuff............................................
